You know when you watch a movie and the boy and the girl get together in the end??
That's my favorite part of movies. Realizing that there is a happy ending...
But what if there isn't?
I mean.. If they were to make squeals of all of these movies my bet would be that it wouldn't be a love story anymore.
Now you may ask, "Why is this girl such a pessimist?"
well.. im not.. but
This world we live in sucks.
Why cant everyone have a happy ending?
Why does the world constantly have to tell us we aren't special, or good enough, or we're not that couple that's one in a million.
And for that matter.. why does it have to be one in a million?
True, unconditional love is hard to find.. but its the only thing ppl truly want in their lives..
Nothing else matters if you don't have someone to share it with.
I've been reading books by Nick Sparks lately and its weird..
I read the notebook and loved it because it was a true love story.
Two ppl growing old together and loving each other til the end...
But then I read Dear John..
What??
This book made me mad because this is a reflection on what relationships are in this world.
You put so much work into them until you finally call it quits and the next time you see each other its as if you never loved them at all.
Why do we allow others to tell us what is and isn't acceptable in relationships.
As much good as there is in this world.. and although ppl are still fighting for it..
It all just almost seems pointless sometimes..
But then i look at my parents or grandparents and I realize that love does still exist.
Its defiantly not the love you see in movies..
I think its even better.
